Melbourne, Florida, October 9, 2009 – In keeping up with the new tradition, Hoyman Dobson, CPA’s hosted its 2nd Annual Casino Night Recruiting Event. This memorable recruiting event took place on September 24, 2009 in the Garden Key Room of the Student Union at the University of Central Florida Campus.  

“This year’s event was even more impressive, with a threefold increase in attendance from last year’s,” shares Peggy Baugh, CPA, who leads Hoyman Dobson’s recruiting efforts. “The students had a blast and they enjoyed the experience late into the night.”

The Casino Night program included a presentation from Barbara Oswalt, CPA/ABV, CVA, CFF, Hoyman Dobson Tax & Business Valuations Director. In addition, the younger generation of Hoyman Dobson tax & audit employees shared firsthand the benefits and advantages of working for Hoyman Dobson. After the Q&A session, the attendees were treated to all of the casino favorites, including Black Jack, Poker, Craps, and Roulette. “We enjoyed meeting the future generation of accounting professionals and throughout the evening we gave away multiple door prizes,” continues Ms. Baugh. “Our goal was to create a memorable experience and we think we achieved that,” concluded Ms. Baugh.
